| This Version of the Orb is an internal drive with an EIDE / ATAPI interface and
mounts into a 3.5 -inch low-profile bay.
Each 3.5" Orb disk stores up to 2.2GB of data, that is equivalent to :
- Up to 2 hours of MPEG-2 (2 Mb/sec) compressed video.
- 30 hrs of MP3 compressed audio.
- Over 3 hrs of CD quality un compressed audio.
- 2,348 pictures (640 x 450 , 24-bit / pixel , full color).
- 3 CD-ROM games
- Just one Orb disk equals 22 100 MB disks , or over 1500 1.44MB floppy disks! Plus, there
is no limit to the number of times an orb disk can be recorded.
The Orb drive comes with utility and back up software with a wide range of capabilities .
The Orb tools software package includes: write protection, disk partitioning and formatting,
a file archive, Orb disk duplicator SCSI Mounter, and other useful maintenance functions.
